Anne C.( Gavaghan) Gillespie, age 87 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Wednesday (11/28) in the Luther Woods Rehab Center in Hatboro.. She was a Retired Office Manager For The Van Horn And Metz Co. Mrs. Gillespie was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Hannah Elliot Gavaghan. Wife of the late Francis X. Gillespie who died in 2006. Mrs. Gillespie was a proud graduate of Little Flower High School in Phila. She was a past President of the Mothers Club at LaSalle College H.S. and was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill. She also was a former member of the Church Phillipians Social Group. For many years the Gillespie family summered together in Sea Isle City ,NJ and in later years in Bethany Beach Del. She is survived by one daughter: Nancy Anastas (Michael) of Oaks, PA two sons: Anthony "Tony" Gillespie(Kathy) of Huntingdon Valley, PA., Francis X. "Buzz" Gillespie Jr.(Myrna) of Dover, DE one sister: Mary McGlynn of Dresher, PA 5 Grandchildren,1 Great Grandaughter, She was also predeceased by a sister- Jane Dante.
