Mary A. (Brophy) Tait, age 94 of Phila. formerly of Balacynwyd died Thursday (7/26) in the Caring Heart Rehab Center in Mt.Airy. She was a retired Payroll Clerk, employed by the U.S.Government
Mrs. Tait was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Francis and the late Maria Parody Brophy.Wife of the late George Tait.
Mary was a resident of the Caring Heart Rehab Center for over 10 years which was formerly known as the Sacred Heart Manor. She previously resided in the Balacynwyd section of Montgomery County. She was a former member of the Saint Mathias Catholic Church in Balacynwyd.
She is survived by
Her Niece and nephew and their children.
She was predeceased by her sister Judith Goldstein.
Friends may call Tuesday 7/31 from 10:30-11am at Caring Heart Rehab Center,Chapel, 6400 Germantown Ave., Phila., PA.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am in the Caring Heart Rehab Center,Chapel, Phila., with the Monsignor Charles Vance officiating.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion.
