(I am lighting a candle as Bob's Aunt Susan).
Bob had a very special part in our family from the beginning of his life and as my sister's third child, he was even more dearly loved due to his being born prematurely. How his Mom, Dad and family loved him! My sister and I lived on opposite sides of the U.S. and did not see each other's families as much as we would have liked but I have great memories of when we did! Bob and his brother Don and sister Laura were a happy group of fun-loving siblings and had a unique and special closeness that continued throughout his life.
Being with Bob in his adult years was always memorable for me because he was such a good listener, a wise philosopher and a gentle friend to every one. He was a person who felt relaxed and peaceful in all situations and by his presence passed on that sense to everyone around him.
My family in Oregon joins me in sending our love to Deb, Chris, Dawn and Ruth, to Don Hunger and his wife Ginny and family, to Laura Kahn and her family, and to my sister, Kitty and her husband Al.
Bob is very deeply missed and will remain in our hearts with love forever.
