Obituary of Mary P. McMenamin

Mary "Pat" (Nolan) McMenamin, age 86 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Monday (5/7) in the Thomas Jefferson Univ. Hospital. She was a retired Registered Nurse , retiring at the age of 84 from the Valley Forge Medical Center and had formerly worked for years at the former Medical College of Pa. in Phila. along with various nursing centers in our area. Mrs. McMenamin was born in Wyomissing, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Caroline Bower Nolan. She was the wife of the late John J. McMenamin Sr. who died in 1990. Pat was a long time member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill. She was an avid Penn State Football fan and loved her Irish Heritage. Pat enjoyed Irish dancing and attending Irish Festivals and parades throughout the area. She loved spending time with her large family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whether playing a game of cards or being at the Jersey shore. She is survived by five daughters: Patti McMenamin of Dallas, TX, Kathy O'Donnell (Buddy) of Blue Bell, PA, Maureen Smith (Rick) of Conshohocken, PA, Mary Bernhardt (Frank) of Conshohocken, PA, Caroline Lawrence (Dennis) of Norristown, PA four sons: John J. McMenamin Jr.(Donna) of Lafayette Hill, PA, Jim McMenamin (Diane) of Lehigh Valley, PA, Mat McMenamin of Lafayette Hill, PA, Tom McMenamin (Teri) of N.Wales, PA one brother: Tom Nolan of Wyomissing, PA 17 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grand., She was predeceased by her sisters-Connie DeLuca, Annabelle Minnick and Dodie Nally Friends may call Thursday 5/10, from 6-8pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Friday ,5/11, from 9:30-10:15am at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA..
