Wayne J. Collins Sr., age 77 of Lafayette Hill formerly of Roxborough suddenly died Monday (3/19) at his home in the Lafayette Hill, PA. He was The Former Chief Executive Officer Of S.S. Pennock and Co. retiring in 2004. Mr. Collins Sr. was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Joseph and the late Elizabeth Elliot Collins. Wayne was a graduate of Northeast High School where he was active with the basketball team. Wayne was a member of the Immacualte Heart of Mary Church in Andorra. Wayne was known as an avid sports fan of all of the Phila. Sports Teams but his passion was playing pool each day. Waynes other passion was spending time with his wife,children and grandchildren along with his many friends and co-workers thru out the years. He is survived by his wife- Diane (Shookowsky ) Collins three daughters: Sally Comisarow (Dale) of Doylestown, PA, Kim Quinn (Scott) of Lafayette Hill, PA, Kelly Guller (Chip) of Lafayette Hill, PA one son: Wayne J. Collins Jr.(Nicole) of North Wales, PA. 8 Grandchildren., Predeceased by a brother William Friends may call Friday 3/23/12 from 6-8pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, and Saturday 3/24/12 from 9:30-10am at Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church, 819 E. Cathedral Rd., Phila., PA. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Burial will be in the Westminster Cemetery, Balacynwyd.
