Obituary of John J. Willard

John J. Willard, age 89 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Monday (2/13) in the Fairview Care Center,Phila.Pa. He was a retired Self Employed Barbershop Owner in Lafayette Hill owner of Willards Barbershop now named Flanagans Barbershop on Germantown Pike. John was also a former professional Cartoonist. Mr. Willard was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Thomas and the late Rose Padulese Willard. John was a Barber for over 60 yrs and graduated from the Phila. Barber School in 1950. He was also a long time member and usher at Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill. Having served in the Navy during WW 2 in the Medic Unit from 1942-1948 . He is survived by his wife Helen E. ( Amman ) of Lafayette Hill one son: Joseph Healy (Mary) of Glenmore, PA one brother: Thomas Willard of Fla. 2 Grandaughters-Erin And Lauren, Friends may call Saturday 2/18/2012 from 9:30-10am at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon. Memorial donations in Johns name may be made to the above church building fund. Funeral arrangements are by the Lownes Funeral Home of Lafayette Hill.
