Obituary of Harry P. Millinghausen

Harry P. Millinghausen, age 82 of the Masonic Village,Lafayette Hill , died Wednesday (1/25) at his sons residence in Blue Bell. He was a Self Employed News Carrier for his family owned Newspaper business. Mr. Millinghausen was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Samuel and the late Martha Shannon Millinghausen. Mr. Millinghausen was a graduate of Germantown H.S. and was active in various sports and up until age 60 he was an avid hockey player. He was a founder and life member of the Wissahickon Skating Club. For many years he was a member of the Christ Church and Saint Michaels Episcopal Church. Most recently he and his wife Mary were attending Messiah United Methodist Church in Lafayette Hill while residing at the Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill. Harry and his wife were also former residents of Avalon NJ for over 15yrs. and were members of the Avalon Methodist Church where he volunteered also. Harry was also a member of Masonic Fritz Lodge # 308 in Conshohocken. He is survived by his wife Mary (Evans) Millinghausen two daughters: Carol Millinghausen (Rick Gamble) of Abington, PA, Donna Koenig (Joseph) of Dresher, PA one son: Paul Millinghausen (Sharon) of Blue Bell, PA 5 Grandchildren,5 Great Grandchildren, Friends may call Wednesday 2/1/2012 from 6-6:45pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA..Masonic service will be at 6:45pm. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Burial will be private.
