Gladys W.(Wohlschlagel) Frederick, age 83 of Harleysville formerly of Lafayette Hill died Friday (1/13) at the Peter Becker Community in Harleysville. She was a retired Receptionist For McNeil Pharmaceuticals . Mrs. Frederick was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late William and the late Mae Henderson Wohlschlagel. Gladys was a graduate of the Germantown H.S. .While she and her husband were raising her 2 daughters in Lafayette Hill she volunteered for the girl scouts. She also was a long time active member of the Messiah United Methodist Church in Lafayette Hill along with their choir and was also a former Sunday School teacher for the church. Gladys also was a former member of the Whitemarsh Womens Club. She is survived by her husband Walter G. Frederick two daughters: Nancy Langerfeld (Gene) of Lafayette Hill, PA, Laurie Walters (Kevin) of Plymouth Meeting, PA. one sister: Doris Valentine of Spring House, PA. 4 grandchildren- Kristen, Keith, Bobby, Lindsay Friends may call Wednesday 1/18/12 from 6-8pm at Messiah United Methodist Church, 527 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Thursday 1/19/12 from 9:30-10:30am at the Church Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Burial will be in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham.
