Edwin A. Turner Jr., age 81 of Dock Terrace Lansdale PA, formerly of Lafayette Hill died Friday (1/6) at Dock Terrace. He was a retired Welder for The Quaker Chemical Co. of Cedar Heights, Whitemarsh Twp. Mr. Turner Jr. was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Edwin A. and the late Florence Rosetti Turner Sr. He is the husband of the late Elizabeth (Swan ) Turner who died in 1983. Mr. Turner was a graduate of the former Springfield H.S. Montgomery Co. and played football and ran Track for the school team. Ed served our country during the Korean War Conflict in the US Navy. He was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill along with various Sportsmens Clubs. For many years Ed and his family enjoyed spending time at the family cabin ,built by Ed and his father, in law at Lake Wallenpaupack in Paupack Pa. . Ed enjoyed boating and fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by one daughter: Adrienne Weber of Hatfield, PA two sons: Keith Turner of Bath, PA, Steve Turner of Lafayette Hill, PA Ed was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth and a son Alan. . His graveside Service will be held Tuesday 1/10/2012 at 12:30 pm in the George Washington Memorial Park, . In leiu of flowers -memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans- ,po box 14301 Cincinatti, OH 45250 Funeral arrangements are by the Lownes Funeral Home of Lafayette Hill.
