Gevena (D'Onofrio )Profera, age 91 of Plymouth Meeting PA., died Wednesday (11/23) at her home in Plymouth Meeting, PA.. She was a Home Maker Mrs. Profera was born in Bridgeport, PA, the daughter of the late Domenico and the late Mary Proietto D'Onofrio. Wife of the late Louis M. Profera Sr. who died in 1991. Gevena was a long time active member of Saint Paul's Catholic Church in E. Norriton. She was graduate of the former Bridgeport H.S. She was always known for her great cooking and in her younger days enjoyed Tatting. She also was an avid Philadelphia sports teams fan. She played an active part of her families lives and will be sadly missed and by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by two daughters: Joanne P. Wendling (Jim) of E.Norriton, PA, Maria L. Ventresca (Paul) of Gwynedd , PA one son: Louis M. Profera Jr.(Gail) of Ft.Worth,TX one sister: Lucy DeCenzo of Lafayette Hill, PA 4 grandchildren-Diana , Christa, Katie, Carly and 1 great grandson-Chase Friends may call Monday 11/28 from 7-9PM at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Tuesday 11/29 from 9-10AM at Saint Pauls Catholic Church, 2007 New Hope St., Norristown, PA.
