Laurence H. Hoffner Jr., age 53 of Akron OH, formerly of Blue Bell,Pa. died suddenly Friday (3/26/2010) He was employed by Cray Valley Mr. Hoffner was born in Bryn Mawr, PA, the son of Laurence H. and Margaret Gillece Hoffner Sr.. Larry graduated from Saint Joseph's Prep School in 1974 and went on to attend Phila. Univ. graduating in 1978. Larry began to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber until 2008 and took a job with Cray Valley in Ohio. Larry loved to play golf and in his younger years he enjoyed sailing. He was very active in his church at Saint Hillary's and coached baseball, basketball and soccer at Saint Hillary's Parrish School in Copley Ohio along with the Revere Youth Programs and was his sons biggest fan during their high school games. He is survived by his parents above and his wife Nancy. two sons: Laurence "Trey" Hoffner III of Bath, OH, Ryan Hoffner of Bath, OH three sisters: Denise Heilmann, Lynne Kirkpatrick (Jeff), Marie Doyle (Richard) a brother : Martin Hoffner (Stefani), nieces and nephews, * predeceased by a brother in 2005 the late Stephen H. Hoffner Friends may call Wednesday 3/31 from 9:30-11AM at Epiphany Of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA..
