Obituary of Tyler Matthew Foos

Please share a memory of Tyler Matthew to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our beloved Tyler was suddenly called home to God (via the flying spaghetti monster) December 1, 2016. Tyler was an outstanding and thoughtful young man and he, along with his wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile, will be missed greatly by anyone who knew him. A graduate of Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School, Tyler lived in Conshohocken and was an aspiring engineer who was attending Montgomery County Community College. He loved video games, music, drawing, Legos and being a big brother. In high school, Tyler enjoyed running on the track team and karate. Tyler loved spending time in the Poconos and at the beach. Tyler did not love spiders or tofu. Tyler had the rare ability to accept and love anyone for who they are. This beautiful quality allowed him to make many friends everywhere he went. Tyler was extremely proud of his car and of his job at Weis in Conshohocken. Tyler's cheerful commitment and devotion to others made him valued and well-loved by anyone who needed a helping hand. He was a devoted son, grandson, great-grandson, cousin, nephew, and a caring friend who always thought of the needs of others before his own. Words cannot express the devastating loss of Tyler. Friends and family will remember him most for his tenderness, big heart, and love of puns. Tyler's presence brought great happiness to those who knew him and the world is a much better place for having had Tyler in it. Tyler is survived by his parents, Christine and Mark Hall of Conshohocken, and Steven and Kim Foos of Irwin; his siblings, Stella Hall, and Abigail and Alexander Foos; his grandparents, Katherine and David Pankevich of Glen Rock, and Barbara and Harry Foos of Dingmans's Ferry; and his uncle, Peter Foos of Winchester, Va. Tyler also leaves behind a heartbroken extended family, a network of countless friends, and his devoted feline companion, Moops, who misses him dearly. As Tyler's absence will be too great a cross to bear alone for his family, friends are encouraged to reach out and share their memories and photos of Tyler. There will be a memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, at the Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 6 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, December 7 from 10-11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please give someone you love a hug today and consider a donation to the AFSP at http://afsp.donordrive.com/campaign/tylerfoos
