Barbara Connahan (nee) Berry, formerly of Bethlehem Village Flourtown, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday October 23rd 2016 surrounded by her family. She was the devoted wife of Bernard J. Connahan who passed in 1977. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her children, family and friends, and she will be lovingly remembered by all. She is survived by her children John, Susan and Julia, son-in law Thomas and her grandchildren Jaime Connahan, Jennifer Joseph, Sean Connahan, Caitlin Elliott-Rockar, Matthew Rockar, Kelsey Connahan and Jacquelyn Elliott, her sister Susan Lasuk, sister- in-law Elsie Connahan, and her nieces and nephews. Barbara will also be sadly missed by her friends from Little Flower High School Class of 1948, St. Agnes Nursing School Class of 1952, her friends from her nursing career and life and her many friends in Sierra Vista, AZ where she resided with her sister Susan for 9 years . Barbara was a devoted Catholic who prayed the rosary every day. Her happy nature and beautiful smile and birthday cards will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bethlehem Village Attn: Sister Judith Oliver SSJ 100 W. Wissahickon Ave. Flourtown, PA 19031 A memorial service will be held 11:30 am on Friday, October 28 at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444 Calling hours will be Friday, October 28 from 10-11:30am at Funeral Home .
