James C. Russo, age 49, of Philadelphia, died suddenly Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. Jim was born December 2, 1966 in Philadelphia. He is the beloved son of Janet (Fanelle) Russo and the late Joseph Russo and brother of Joseph K. Russo, David Russo, Danielle Russo and Jessica Russo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Jim graduated from George Washington High School, Philadelphia, and the Restaurant School of Philadelphia with a degree in culinary arts. Jim generously shared his talents as a chef, creating unforgettable lessons, meals, and loving memories for his family and friends. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 13 at George Washington Memorial Park, Stenton Ave. And Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA. Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 13 from 1:15 1:45pm at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.19444.
