Nellie A.(Czop) Keane, age 98, formerly of Lafayette Hill died Friday, October 23, 2015 at Regina Nursing Center of Norristown. She was born March 28, 1917 in Conshohocken. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Katherine Czop. She was the wife of the late John P.Keane, who passed away in 2003. Mrs.Keane was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill. Nellie was an avid crafter and expert sewer. She often sewed her own and family clothing along with afgans etc. In her later years she became an avid painter and jewelry creator also. Mrs.Keane also enjoyed, when her children were young, traveling to the Poconos and the Jersey shore for family vacations. She will sorely missed by her loving family and many friends. She is survived by two sons: John T. Keane (Linda) of Gwynedd Valley, PA, Dennis J. Keane (Lynne) of Ft. Washington, PA. 2 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren . She Was Predeceased by her grandson Dennis. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 28 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 28 from 10-11am at Saint Philip Neri Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regina Nursing Center, 550 E. Fornance St. Norristown,Pa.19401.
