Obituary of Mary B Stimson

Mary Stimson, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, died peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years of marriage, Edward Stimson III. Also her son Edward Stimson IV, late Keith Stimson and her sister, Annia Marie Faltine of Arkansas. Predeceased by her parents Sheldon and Catherine Bertz of Lancaster PA and her brothers Donald and Sheldon Jr Bertz, both from Lancaster.

Mary and her husband, Edward Stimson, first lived in West Chester, PA then moving to Plymouth Meeting in 1972. Mary then worked for Merck Sharp and Dhome as a secretary until her retirement.

Mary was a very vibrant person, loved people and enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, gardening, and listening to music. In the 1970’s she really enjoyed teaching the Plymouth Whitemarsh Marching Colonials Drill team along with her dearest friend, Silva Holly.


A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Oct 21 at 11:00 AM at Lownes Family Funeral Home 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill

The Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct 21 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Funerl Home before the service.
 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
