Mary Q."Molly" Frantz, age 75, of Flourtown, PA died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 . Molly graduated from Rosemont College in 1964 and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College in 1970. She was a life long advocate for the rights of mental health patients and worked for many years as the Director of Mental Health and Mental Retardation in Montgomery County,Pa. Molly was a founding member of the Bread and Roses Organization of Phila. and enjoyed volunteering there as an active fundraiser. An enthusiastic fan of the arts in Phila. , Molly was a supporter of the Phila. Orchestra and attended many local theaters , especially Azuka. She is survived by a brother Hank Frantz and a sister Kate Kerrigan and brother in law John. She is also survived by her niece McKenna Kerrigan and nephew Quinn Kerrigan along with her late-in-life loves:grandnephews Waylon and Dashiell and grandniece-Harper. Molly was predeceased by her brother Larry Frantz. A Celebration of her Life will be held 6:00 pm on Monday, April 30 at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444. Calling hours will be Monday, April 30 from 5-6pm at Lownes Family Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to The Bread and Roses Community Fund of Phila.-(breadrosesfund.org)
