In 1949 Mr. Walton was New Jersey's State Cross Country Champ in Trenton along with a record in the Mile run.
He was a 20 year Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam and the Korean Wars on a destoyer and also a mine sweeper etc. finally retiring in 1968 after serving in the Pentagon where he was in charge of the Air War in Vietnam.. Mr.Walton then went onto serve McDonalds and the Burger King Corp's. in Northern Pa. as a manager for over 25 years.
