Diane Joyce (also affectionally known as Di) passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from complications of septic shock. She was surrounded by family which included her beloved husband Thomas and loving sisters Lorraine and Linda as we’ll as their husbands.

Di had a strong sense of caring for others, a beautiful smile and loved to have her hair “perfect.” She had a vibrant personality and would light up the room with her smile. She loved to watch sitcoms, especially Young Sheldon and Ghosts. She was also a huge fan of Howard Stern and listened to him daily. He truly made her laugh a lot.

Di is survived by her husband Thomas Wood of Plymouth Meeting, PA, her sister Lorraine Boyle (nee Janka) and husband Neil of Bensalem, PA, her sister Linda Janka Grace and husband James of Blue Bell, PA, her niece Christy Hagerman (nee Boyle) and husband Jason as well as their four children Anna, Leah, Jack and Luke Hagerman of Mullica Hill, NJ as well as many extended family members and friends.

By the Grace of God, Di is no longer suffering, she will surely be missed but will now be with her loving parents Matthew and Victoria (nee Pietrowski) Janka and her pet dog Pete.

A memorial service honoring Di’s life will take place at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Lownes Family Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pk. Lafayette Hill, PA 19444.

A Visitation will take place before the service at the Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 PM.
