It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Dominic Francis Douglas, age 16, on July 18, 2026. Born on May 4th, 2010 to Lisa Zinar and Timothy Douglas, Dominic brought an immeasurable amount of light, laughter, and love into the world during his short time with us.

Dominic was currently a sophomore at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, where he was known by his peers and teachers for his kind heart, quiet perseverance, and infectious laughter. He had a deep passion for football, gaming, playing with his beloved Kit-Kat,  and spending time with his friends. He was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need, especially his best friend, Pop.

He was a devoted son, a loving brother, and a fiercely loyal friend. Dominic will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his parents, Lisa Zinar and Timothy Douglas; his loving sister Joanna Douglas; his grandparents, Michael Zinar, Phyllis Zinar, and Penny Douglas; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

The funeral service to honor the beautiful life of Dominic will be held on July 23rd, 2026, at 11:00 am at Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Road, Lafayette Hill, with a visitation from 9:00 am- 11:00 am before the service. Friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories and celebrate the bright light he was in all of our lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Spartans Youth Football and Cheerleading Association or Art for Autism St. Peter’s Comprehensive Learning Center.
