Michael Fitzpatrick, born on August 18, 1970, in Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on June 6, 2026. He was a devoted husband to Angelica and a loving father to Carmella.
He was the beloved son of Mary J. and the late Michael J. Fitzpatrick, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Denise. Michael is survived by his sisters, Maureen (Nick) and Mary; his sisters-in-law, Stephanie (Nov), Fatima (Shan), and Lourdes; as well as his nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Alexandra, Eamon, Joseph, Grace, Lauren, Auriel, Stephen, and Filomena; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Riley, Owen, Nora, Elliott, Stella, and Noelle.
A graduate of Saint Barnabas Elementary School and West Catholic High School, Michael was affectionately known to many as "Fitz" or "Mike." He earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from The Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences and a master's degree in business administration from St. Joseph’s University. Following his time at Ceridian (Dayforce), he transitioned into consulting, founding PSGroup LLC and working for DataSmith Analytics. His career as a computer programmer was marked by hard work and dedication, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
Mike was a true Philadelphia sports fanatic! He loved the outdoors and found great joy in boating and walking along the beach. He was also an avid runner and cyclist. Resolute in his support for others, Mike was a dedicated participant in many charitable causes, including the Broad Street Run and events for the ALS Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He was a natural handyman and had an incredible knack for fixing anything that was broken.
Mike cherished every moment spent with his family and friends. Whether he was hosting annual holiday celebrations or simply gathering to watch an Eagles game, he was known for his unwavering kindness and devotion to those he loved. Above all else, nothing compared to the deep, boundless love he had for his wife, Angel, and his daughter, Carmella.
Mike will be profoundly missed and remembered for his kindness, warmhearted spirit, and generosity.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 17 2026 at 11:00 AM at Saint Philip Neri Church 437 Ridge Pk. Lafayette Hill PA 19444.
There will be a Visitation held at the Church before the Funeral Mass from 9:30-11:00 AM
Mike's Interment will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery 1600 Sproul Rd. Springfield PA 19064
