Veronica A. Kelly-Morgan Obituary

Veronica Ann Kelly-Morgan “Ronnie” beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend passed away peacefully on May 10th at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by her loving family.  Born on April 18, 1957 in Lafayette Hill, Ronnie was the daughter of George J. and Veronica A. Kelly.

Ronnie was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School – class of 1975.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology from Temple University in 1996.  She also earned a Certification for Fine Arts Appraisals.  She was a Senior Claims Representative for PMA specializing in Workman’s Compensation.  She retired in 2023. She also enjoyed working part-time at Kohl’s.

Ronnie is survived by her twin sister Deborah A. Kelly, brother Michael Kelly (Valery) and sister Marianne Famous and nieces and nephews Christopher Famous (Melody), Tara Kelly-Reinhart (Andrew), Jennifer Mesoraca (Dominic), and Michael Kelly along with seven great nieces and nephews Luke, Jacob, Olivia, Cody, Jordyn, Cayleigh and Vincent who she absolutely adored.

Ronnie was a gentle soul with a heart full of wonder, collecting dolphins, sea turtles, owls and angels as lovingly as she collected memories.  She found joy in traveling, whether exploring the beaches in Ocean City, New Jersey or fulfilling her dream of an archaeology dig in England.  Avid in her reading, spiritual in her studies, and grounded in the things she loved from the balance of Yin and Yang to the thrill of Nascar she lived with curiosity and warmth.  Her holistic spirit, her love of the ocean, and her quiet wisdom touched everyone around her.  Though she has left this world, the beauty she carried remains with us, living on in the stories she inspired and the love she shared so freely.

Ronnie was predeceased in death by her husband Robert Morgan, her Father and Mother George J. and Veronica A. Kelly and her grandparents.

Ronnie’s wishes were to be cremated.  Our family will honor our sister with a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
