Edward N. Stimson IV Obituary

Eddie Stimson IV, born in West Chester, PA and originally lived in Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026 at the age of 59. He developed cancer in several parts of his body since 2023. He was the beloved son of his parents, Edward Stimson III and Mary (Bertz) Stimson (deceased). He had a younger brother, Keith, that was killed in 1987.


Eddie enjoyed music like his father and became one of his Plymouth Whitemarsh High school band drum majors in his senior year. While in high school, he also performed in the musical ‘Wizard of Ozz’ playing the part of the Lion.


Later on he helped his father as a marching staff member with the PW Marching Colonials. Also in his high school junior and senior years, Ed joined and performed summers with the Garfield Cadets playing his trumpet. Both years the Cadets won Drum Corps Championships.


After high school, Ed graduated from Penco Tech as a car mechanic. He later went on to become a home contractor with his own construction company (All Decked Out) and various other companies. He also loved playing pool with his friends and sports especially the Phillies and Eagles and enjoying spending time with his friend’s boat in Sea Isle City.


A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18. From 1 to 3 PM at Lownes Funeral Home 659 Germantown Pike Lafayette Hill, PA 19444


His family will have a private burial at a later date.


In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 779 Harding Hwy Buena, NJ 08310
