Ida Ruth (Ruth) Rudolph [Zeisloft], 100, of Lafayette Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on November 19th, 2025, at the Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill. She was a resident of the Masonic Village for twenty-nine years.  

Ruth was born in Roxborough, PA to Ida and Courson Zeisloft on December 9th, 1924. She attended Roxborough High School and went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University in 1946. She practiced podiatry in both solo and group practices and was beloved by her patients for her caring and healing touch. “Healing hands” was a phrase often attributed to Dr. Ruth’s medical gifts. Ruth was an accomplished seamstress making many of her own clothes as well as custom items for her daughters and granddaughters.  After retiring from her podiatry practice, she quickly became incredibly skilled at the art of cross-stitch. Several cross-stitch pattern designers sought out her handiwork to display their patterns. Ruth was a life-long Episcopalian and was active in her faith community at Saint Mary’s at the Cathedral.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Susan (Andrew) Gustafson of Spartanburg, SC and Lynn (Stuart) Farlin of Norfolk, VA.  Grandchildren include Emily (Daniel) Crowder of Greenville, NC, Amelia (Jon) Giles of Charlotte, NC, Tucker (Tori) Gustafson of Denver, CO, Taylor (Jalen) Massey of Naperville, IL and Trent of Norfolk, VA. She also had five great grandchildren: Andrew, Hudson, Charlotte, Parker and Courson. She is predeceased by her husband Richard William Rudolph, parents Ida [Klingberg] and Courson Zeisloft, sister Virginia [Zeisloft] Pringle, and brothers Courson and Milton Zeisloft. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11 am The Reverend Samantha Vincent Alexander of Christ Church, Philadelphia officiating. A private Interment will follow the service. Lownes Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Compassionate Care Fund, at the Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill.  The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nursing and personal care staff of the Masonic Village for their care, and loving support of Ruth. The staff has been a blessing to Ruth’s daughters and enriched Ruth’s life!
