Paul S. Horos III Obituary

In Loving Memory of Paul Stephen Horos III

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Paul Stephen Horos III, age 51, on October 12, 2025.

Paul was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea (Hall) Horos, and their sons, Paul IV and Alexander. He is also survived by his parents, Paul II and Mary Alice (O’Keefe) Horos, his sister, Erin Horos.

Paul and Andrea met and fell in love in college and shared more than 30 years together, including 24 years of marriage. Paul was a dedicated father, finding his greatest joy in sharing life’s adventures with his sons. He passed along his passion for skiing, led many memorable camping trips, and served as Alex’s Cub Scout den leader. Whether on the slopes, around a campfire, or simply at home, Paul led with patience, enthusiasm, and love — always setting an example of curiosity, kindness, and integrity.

A lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, Paul built a successful career in real estate development as the Founding Partner and Managing Member of Elk Street Management. Beyond his work, he was happiest outdoors — skiing, fishing, and sharing his love of nature with those around him. He was deeply committed to his involvement in Boy Scout leadership, where he inspired many young people with his steady guidance, adventurous spirit, and generosity. Paul was also active in his children’s school community, serving for many years on the Our Mother of Consolation Facilities Committee, where he applied his expertise to help improve and enhance the school’s campus.

He had a true love of learning that shaped every part of his life. He earned his undergraduate degree from La Salle University, completed his master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and continued his pursuit of knowledge by studying French at the Université de Montréal. His intellect and eagerness to explore new ideas inspired those around him to keep growing and discovering.

Paul also had a lifelong passion for travel, a love he shared with his parents and passed on to his own family. His adventures took him throughout Europe, on many ski and hiking trips in the Northeast, and to two memorable years living in Montréal. Whether discovering new places or returning to familiar mountains, Paul found joy and meaning in every journey.

Paul will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and deep love for his family. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and adventure to every part of life, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
