Ruth Luksa was born on April 19, 1935, she passed away on September 26, 2025. She is a devoted wife of the late Robert A. Luksa and cherished Mother to her son, Steven Luksa, and his wife, Patricia. She is also survived by her younger brother, Frank Cheever, of East Norriton, Pennsylvania and an older brother, Arnold Cheever of Texas.
She is a proud and loving grandmother to Kaitlin, Michael and Megan, who were the joy of her life. Her grandchildren affectionately called her “Nan”. Her warmth, kindness and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
“Nan” found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed watching and lovingly feeding the birds, squirrels, groundhogs, deer and foxes that called her backyard home. Her gentle and nurturing heart extended to everyone around her, leaving a legacy of love and generosity.
“Nan” will be remembered not only for her devotion and love for her family but also for her quiet strength, compassion and the special way she made each person in her life feel. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
