A long-time member of St. Jude and the Nativity in Plymouth Meeting, Ruth later transferred to St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Blue Bell. She was an active member of the church, participating in the altar guild, vestry, deanery and various other functions.

When her children were young, Ruth was a regular attendee at their numerous sporting and school events.
