Joseph N. Navarra, 86 years old, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away on Sunday, July 20th, 2025.

He was born on December 20th, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Nicola Navarra and the late Emilia Navarra.

He is survived by his wife Anne (nee Plasmier) and his daughter Linda (Dave Cylc). Adored Pop-Pop of Jaiden and Jesse. Beloved Uncle of Ron Navarra and Nick Navarra, and also Pete, Sean, Kevin and Tim Plasmier, and Pete, Margie and Judy Plasmier. He also has many great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He was loved by many cousins. Joe was predeceased by his brother, Pat and his brother-in-law, Peter Plasmier.

Joe worked at Penn Fishing Tackle for 11 years. He moved on to work at PECO for 27 years. He was very proud of every position he held there, especially Contract Inspector. He had unique ways of doing his job, such as leaving a pack of cigarettes on the locations he found problems, and the guys would see them and say “Uh oh, Joe was here.”!

Joe enjoyed his retirement years, loved going to yard sales and flea markets, and he made us stop at EVERY Dollar Store for years! Quite the pack rat.

He was the proudest Pop-Pop ever, and created many memories with Jaiden and Jesse. He was a fixture in their lives from Day One, and frequently spent many afternoons and family dinners at their house.

He was a devote Catholic, almost never missing Sunday Mass, or breakfast afterwards!

Joe lived a long life, but not long enough for him. He said “I’m going out kicking.”

He was happily married for 62 years. He will be missed by so many loved ones, but especially his wife Anne.
