Obituary of Robert J Maron
Robert James Maron
January 9, 1948 – June 4, 2025
Robert James Maron, lovingly known as Rob, of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2025, at the age of 77, surrounded by his beloved family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Rob was the son of the late Dr. John J. Maron and Patricia Maron. He graduated from Malvern Preparatory School in 1966 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University.
At the age of 25, Rob founded Philadelphia Business Forms, which he proudly owned and operated for 50 years. With integrity, determination, and an entrepreneurial spirit, he built a business that stood the test of time, forging lifelong relationships and earning deep respect in his community.
Enjoying summers in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, Rob met the love of his life, Eileen Woods and after a short courtship, they married and had one daughter, Kimberly Maron (Coughlin). A devoted father, Rob never missed a game, cheering Kimberly on from childhood through her collegiate lacrosse years.
He found joy in simple days at home or traveling with Eileen, endless rounds of golf with his brothers and close friends, fishing and boating down the shore, and above all, spending time with his three grandsons—Christopher (11), Cooper (9), and Quinn (7). Known to them as “Mick,” Rob was the ultimate grandfather—chasing them through the yard, playing multiple tricks on them, and threatening with the occasional headlock. He proudly attended their soccer games, basketball tournaments, lacrosse matches, and swim meets, always as their biggest fan.
Rob’s life was defined by his sharp wit, legendary sense of humor, and deep devotion to Eileen and Kimberly. His happiest moments were spent outdoors—walking, golfing, casting a line off the dock, sipping a cold IPA with his son-in-law, or exploring nature trails with his grandsons. His presence lit up every room, and his energy was contagious.
Rob is survived by his loving Eileen, wife of 44 years; and his adored daughter, Kimberly; son-in-law, Ryan; and grandsons, Christopher, Cooper, and Quinn. He is also survived by his siblings: Chris Maron of Apollo Beach, FL; Suzy Lang (Don) of Sarasota, FL; Andy Maron (Kathy) of Dresher, PA; Michael Maron (Pam) of Port Orange, FL; Trish Lacy (Jay) and Pammy Maron, both of Sarasota, FL; along with many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Rob will be remembered for his constant humor, big heart, and unwavering love for those around him. His legacy lives on in every life he touched, especially his grandsons.
