Obituary of Joan T. Jones

Joan T. (Wysocki) Jones, age 92, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill. 

A lifelong resident of Whitemarsh Township, she graduated from Springfield High School. Joan was married to the late John Horace Jones, who predeceased her in 2013. Together they raised a loving family: Carol (Harry) Varrone, Linda (Steve) Choquette, Steven (Candace) Jones, and Janet (Van) Singer. She was a proud grandmother to Jeffrey Varrone, Laura Choquette, Andy Choquette, Brian (Molly) Choquette, Joseph Singer, Julia Singer and Elizabeth Jones. She also cherished her great-grandson, Colin Choquette, who brought her great joy.

Joan was preceded in death by her brother, John Wysocki, of Livonia, MI, and her parents, Julian and Josephine Wysocki.

Joan was the Vice President for Edwards-Freeman, Inc. in Conshohocken for many years, where she was known for her diligence and warm spirit.  When she retired, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life—traveling, practicing Tai-Chi, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held on May 21 at 11:00 AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. A visitation will take place at the church  prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Joan’s memory to a charity of your choice.
