Obituary of Elizabeth Keely-Wonderly

Elizabeth Keely-Wonderly, age 103, passed away on March 11, 2018. Born on June 5, 1914. A graduate of Roxborough HighSchool and a member of Roxborough Baptist Church. She married F. Oliver Keely Jr. who preceded her in death in 1961. She lived in Lafayette Hill where she was an active leader in the Girl Scout troop at St Peters Lutheran Church and continued her active association with Roxborough Baptist. While she raised a family, she worked at jobs at the Philadelphia Library, Strawbridge and Clothier Department Store and Price Waterhouse from which she retired in 1979. Her interest in scouting and nature led to her second marriage to Charles Wonderly who kept her active in birding and projects at the Schuylkill Valley Nature Center. They were active in the Audubon Society and led many nature trips throughout the years. During the last several years she moved with her family to Marietta, GA and subsequently to Fort Myers, FL. Her funeral service will be held at Lownes Family Funeral Home at 659 Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill on March 20, 2018 at 1pm. She is Survived by her Children Frank O.Keely III, Gayle Keely; her grandchildren, Scott and Dena Keely, Karen Keely, Maj. Chris and Kristen Parson, Kim Mason; and Great Grandchildren Ben Renkema and Christie Keely, Gregory Keely, Sydney, Corbin, and Hannah Parson, Nicole Manning, Jordan, Zachary, and Taylor Mason.
