William A. DeCenzo Jr., age 70, of Cedars died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at home in Cedars. William was born April 9, 1947 in Washington D.C. He is the son of the late William and the late Lucy (Donofrio) DeCenzo Sr.. He is the husband of Diane (Reagan0 DeCenzo. He was employed by IPS as a Project Manager . He is survived by his wife: Diane (Reagan) DeCenzo . , one daughter: Kara Lightbody (Curt) and three sons: William A. DeCenzo III, Andrew Paul DeCenzo, Joshua R. Riley (Angel); Brother of Maria Brown and Michael DeCenzo. He is also survived by his 1 Grandaughter- Ava. Bill was an active member of his community, serving as director of the North Penn Small-Sided Soccer League for 15 years. He enjoyed this immensely, working with children to develop an understanding of the game. He was a man of strong faith, belonging to Corpus Christi Church and rarely missing mass. Bill loved the ocean, both on the sand and on the water. Sailing was a pure delight for him, a visceral joy that was rooted deep in his soul. Most importantly, we will always remember him for his all-encompassing love of his family and children. They were his greatest joy and proudest achievement. Nothing made him happier than cooking a meal for his loved ones and sharing it around the table. During these dinners, Bill's wit and humor were on full display; jokes and anecdotes invariably ran freely. These special times with him will be missed tremendously, but will live on forever in our hearts. Dad, I love you more than you'll ever know. I have been so blessed with the privilege of having you for my father. You were my first love, and I will cherish our time together on this earth for the rest of my life. You were an extraordinary man, and my soul aches at the loss of you. My solace, however, is in knowing that you are at peace in eternal rest with our Lord in heaven. We shall meet again, my beloved Daddy. Your loving daughter, Kara A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, August 26 at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, Pa.19446.
