Marion L. (Duva) Sasse, age 92, of Lafayette Hill, died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at The Wayne Center of Wayne. Marion was born September 19, 1924 in Phila.. She is the daughter of the late Augustine and the late Jennie (Cerrato) Duva. She was the beloved wife of the late William G.Sasse who passed in 2012. Mrs. Sasse was a graduate of the Little Flower High School and while growing up she worked at her parents restaurant. While living in Lafayette Hill raising her five children she became an active member of Saint Philip Neri Church. For many years she volunteered to help clean the large church , a job she enjoyed because she loved to clean. Marion was also known for great cooking skills and taking care of and feeding her family well, she took great pleasure in. Marion also enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her son along with her yearly vacations to Wildwood Crest and Brigantine , NJ. She will be sorely missed by her devoted family and friends. She is survived by three daughters: Marion Pergine (the Late William), Barbara Monge (Bill), Joanne Rafetto (Scott) and one son: William Sasse (Kathy); Sister of Nick Duva. Also survived by 8 Grandchildren,5 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Robert M. Sasse in 1998. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 am on Thursday, May 18 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Calling hours will be Thursday, May 18 from 10:30-11:30am at Saint Philip Neri Church. Memorial donations may be made to the above church. . Marion L.
