Leonard E. Decker, age 81, of Lafayette Hill, PA died Friday, January 20, 2017 at Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill. Leonard was born March 31, 1935 in Conshohocken, PA.. He is the son of the late Edward and the late Stella (Wisnewski) Decker. He is the beloved husband of Harriet (Shields) Decker. He was employed by Leeds And Northrup as an Electrical Engineer. Mr. Decker was a proud graduate of St. Joseph's Preparatory School and St. Joseph's University. He also served our Country in the US Army. Len was a faithful member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and was a former choir member , usher and a member of their Phillipians Social Group. He volunteered for years for the Meals on Wheels Program , The Morris Arboretum Garden Railroad and was a member of the Masonic Village Train Club. Len will be sorely missed by his devoted family and many friends. He is survived by his wife: Harriet (Shields) Decker , two daughters: Mary Anne Alicea (Norbert), Dr. Catherine Decker (Dr. Curt Burgess) and one son: Andy Decker (Mary Anne); Brother of Phyllis Gallagher and Paul Decker. Also survived by 5 Grandchildren-Alexandra, Timothy , Noelle ,Allison and Theodore. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 am on Thursday, January 26 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444 Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 26 from 10:30-11:30am at Saint Philip Neri Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Joe's Prep. 1733 W.Girard Ave. Phila.Pa.19130. Mr.Decker was a proud graduate of St. Jospeh's Preparatory School and St.Jospeh's University. He also survived our Country in the US Army.
