Margaret F. "Peg" (O'Brien) Landes, age 91,formerly of Lafayette Hill, PA died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at her sons home in home in North Wales . Peg was born January 5, 1925 in Lake Wales, FLA. She is the daughter of the late Matthew and the late Margaret (Wall) O'Brien. She was the wife of the late Ronald R . Landes- who passed in 2002. She was a retired Registered Nurse. Mrs. Landes was a graduate of Little Flower High School and the Miseicordia Hospital School of Nursing where she earned her Registered Nurse Certificate. Living in Lafayette Hill for over 45 years along with her late husband Ronald, she was a devout Catholic and member of Saint Philip Neri Church. At the church she was one of the first Women Eucharistic Ministers. After raising six children , she enjoyed traveling in her later years and was involved at one time in a local Bowling League. Peg will be sorely missed by her devoted family and many friends. She is survived by her daughter: Judith A. Greco (Vincent) of Plymouth Meeting, PA. and five sons: Ronald J. Landes (Carol) of Pottsville, PA, Michael T. Landes (Ginny) of Phila., PA, Peter L. Landes of Conshohocken, PA., Stephen P. Landes (Carolynn) of Leesburg, VA, Gregory B. Landes (Linda) of N.Wales, PA. Also survived by her 19 Grandchildren , 10 Great Grand and 1 Great Great Grandson. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Monday, October 10 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Entombment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting . Calling hours will be Monday, October 10 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Parkinson Disease Assn. 330 S. 9th St. suite 3, .Phila.Pa.19107 or Alzheimers Assn.-399 Market St.suite 102,Phila.Pa.19106.
