Ella was born in a small town in Draga, Austria on November 23, 1920. At 15 years old , she moved with her parents , Mary and Rudolph Miklich and brothers Robert and Louis to New York City. She worked to help the World War II effort ; became a Straw Hat Designer in New York and then in Philadelphia she became a Hair Dresser and manager of 10 beauty salons in Pa. Ella also worked as a Sales Person selling fine jewelry. Her Hobbies included knitting , gardening and loved German dancing. Ella also played the accordion and was a fantastic story teller and had a great happiness and joy for life. Along with her late husband Daniel, she worked tirelessly for Padre Pio of Pietrelcina in Foggia , Italy, who was canonized a Saint. She and her husband were professed lay Franciscan Monks. In later years she was very devoted to the Infant of Prague. Ella is survived by her daughter Veronica Simola (Frank). Grandchildren-Daniel ( Melissa) , Andrew, Laura, Frank Jr.(Alice) Great grandchildren- Julien , Anna and Olivia. Ella was predeceased by her siblings- Robert (Mary) and Louis (Mary) Miklich. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, October 1 at Epiphany Of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA. Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemtery, East Norriton . Calling hours will be Thursday from 10-10:45am at Epiphany Of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA.. In lieu of flowers Mass cards are preferred..
