James R. Fulginiti Sr., age 87, of Ridge Manor, FLA. Formerly of Flourtown Pa. died Monday, September 21, 2015 at his home in Fla. He was born December 23, 1927 in Lafayette Hill, PA.. He is the son of the late Vincenzo and the late Mildred (Rocco) Fulginiti. He is the devoted husband of Rose (Perri ) Fulginiti. He was the former Springfield Township Manager. Jim was a graduate of the former Barren Hill School in Lafayette Hill, Springfield High School and The University of Penna. where he received his Business Degree. He served our Country in the US Army. Jim was a former member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill where he was raised and also St. Genevieve's Church in Flourtown where he resided for many years. While proudly serving as the Township Manager of Springfield Twp. He was also was respected throughout the state of Pennsylvania and was a founder of the Recycling Program for Pennsylvania. Jim will be sorely missed by his devoted family and many friends and community. He is survived by his wife: Rose (Perri) Fulginiti and three daughters: Jean Snyder (Jay) of Ephrata, PA., Joanne Henkels (Bud) of Ambler, PA., Mary Booth (Dennis) of Downingtown, PA. also survived by 12 Grandchildren And 11 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings and his son James R. Fulginiti Jr. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, September 25 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Burial will be private . Calling hours will be Friday, September 25 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital,501 St.Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 . Jim was a graduate of the former Barren Hill School in Lafayette Hill, Springfield High School and The University of Penna. where he received his Business Degree.
