Eleanor (Medicus) Stieff, age 95 of the Gwynedd Estates, Upper Gwynedd PA, died Thursday (6/24/2010) in the Abington Hospital. She was a Home Maker.
Mrs. Stieff was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Joseph P. and the late Wilhelmina Haibach Medicus. Wife of the late Gordon H. Stieff.
Mrs. Stieff has been a resident of the Gwynedd Estates for over 20 years and was formerly of Erdenhiem,Pa.
She was a former member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Flourtown and the Springfield Questers.
She attended Germantown Highschool.
She is survived by
one daughter: Nancy S. Lockard (Rod) of Oreland, PA
one son: Paul A. Stieff (Linda) of Garnett Valley, PA
1 grandchild, 2 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brother Joseph P. Medicus on 6/2210 and her sisters Emma Lotz and Henrietta Ockenlaender.
Friends may call Thursday 7/1/10 from 10-11am at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA..
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am
Burial will be in the Union Cemetery Whitemarsh.
